Belly Dancing
Teacher: Christina Rhoderick
Dates: Every Tuesday, starting February 17, 2009 6-7pm
Info: Learn this fun dance style, while getting an excellent work out. The focus of the class is basic belly dance moves, and incorporates strength training and stamina building. Benefits of taking belly dance classes include better posture, positive self image and over all body conditioning.
Price: First class FREE, Drop in $12, 5 class pass $50
Please wear something comfortable to dance in, such as yoga or sweat pants or a long skirt. Bring a hip
scarf and a smile. Hip scarves are available to borrow or purchase.
Yoga
Teacher: Linda Sorauf
Dates: Every Monday, starting February 16th, 7-8pm
Every Thursday, starting February 19th, 8-9am
Info: Classes will be based on student levels that attend. She focuses on correct alignment, strength, flexibility, improving physiological functions and improving concentration. Linda teaches Hatha yoga (beginning yoga that focuses on the physical body, creating alignment, balance and space within), Vinyasa yoga (flow yoga that is intermediate in level and energizing all parts of the body) and restorative yoga.
Price: First class FREE, Drop in $6, 5 class pass $25
Bring an empty stomach, loose comfortable clothing, a yoga mat if you have one and an old towel.
Nia
Teacher: Elizabeth Johnson
Dates: Every Monday, starting February 16th, 5:30-6:30pm
Every Friday*, starting February 27th, 5:30-6:30pm
Nia classes will not be held the third Friday of every month, due to the WK courses
Info: Nia is a holistic cardiovascular fitness practice based in martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. Nia is for every body. It creates weight loss and muscle strength, enhances sensory awareness, unlocks creative blocks, reduces stress and improves brain function. It improves endurance and strengthens immunity with circulation and lymph drainage.

Breathing
Teacher: Mary Alice Winchell
Dates: February 28th, 2-4pm; March 28th, 2-4pm; April 25th, 2-4pm
Info: Focuses on not just teaching how to breathe correctly, and be intently aware of your breath and body, but teaches a variety of breathing techniques.
Price: First class FREE, $10 per class
